A cleaned up and refined version of the Node.js script I posted last week to import posts from a Twitter archive file:
https://github.com/mattbullen/migrate-tweets-to-mastodon
You're welcome to adapt this for your own use, although you'll probably need to tweak parts of it to fit your preferences.
And please be sure to test it thoroughly before letting it rip on a full archive file. 😀
Since we're new on Mastodon, I thought it might be helpful to post some of our submission guidelines and editorial review standards.
These aren't hard rules, but pieces that are closer to following them tend to have better chances.

It's a wrap! The December issue is now full.
And that's it for 2022 - we're taking December off for the holidays.
Our next issue is set for February 2023. Want to get ahead of the game? Submit here:
https://redogrereview.submittable.com/submit
It's actually better if you do submit well in advance, since we like having plenty of lead time to review subs.
Each issue is organized, loosely, around a set of common themes. It takes time to receive enough pieces to tease those out in the selections.
Apologies if you noticed a blast of posts imported from Twitter - I put together a script to pull in some posts to get our account's feed started.
If you're familiar with Node.js scripting, you're welcome to adapt the script for your own use:
https://github.com/mattbullen/migrate-tweets-to-mastodon
Caveat, though, I wrote it over my lunch hour today.
While it works, it could probably use some polishing and refining ... and it will need some adapting for other accounts. 😀

Updated cover art for the print anthology of our first year of issues. Might tweak this a few more times, but this is the idea.
The e-book version will still use the original cover art featuring our journal mascot, the toothy grinning ogre creature.

We rarely stray from journal topics, but this is timely.
The LA Opera's new season is off to a strong start with Lucia di Lammermoor. If you're able to attend a show, well worth it!
The mixed media production is especially engaging.
